I grew up playing Downriver and worked in the pro shop with Bud when I was going to college. He was one of the true characters of the Spokane golf scene. I will miss him.

I grew up across the street from Hole 9 at Downriver - worked for Bud. I had great times at Downriver when Bud was the pro. He was a good guy and help me a lot when my Dad passed. away in high school.

Bud was a great guy. Had many good memories at Downriver when he was a pro there. He will be missed.
