Ted Harrison

Ted Harrison Howard: Passed at his home residence on April 11, 2011. Ted was born in Lynn Grove, Kentucky on May 16, 1931. Ted was preceded in death by his parents; Brown and Clara Howard, siblings: Charles Nelson Howard, Billy Paul Howard, his children: Glenn Roy Howard,
Clarice Howard, John Edward Howard and granddaughter; Carey Ann McAdams. Survivors: his sister; Anna Howard Colson of Chapel Hill, NC, his wife; Shirley Howard of Spokane, WA; Children: Constance A. Morigeau of Ronan, MT, Kevin Heck, Janelle Lanway, and Kelly Clarke of Spokane, Lonny Heck and Leon Heck of Seattle, WA, (Glenn Roy Howard's children; Kaetie Howard Brown with her husband Francis, and (six) children in Arlee, MT and Fred H. Howard of Clarksville, TN where he is stationed in the Army and resides with his wife; Jessica and two sons), there is a total of 20 grandchildren and 20 great-grand- children as well as three nieces three nephews and his best friend and pet; Buddy. Ted attended high school and was on the varsity basketball team, he graduated from high school in 1950. Ted joined the Air Force in 1951 and served his Country for 10 years, then discharged in 1961, at which time he returned to Spokane, due to his dear love for the area, where he made his home for over 50+ years. Ted attended and graduated from Chef School at Spokane Community College and worked many years as a Chef at different restaurants, as well as being co-owner of the restaurant; --Butler, Baker, Breakfast Maker' till his retirement. Military Graveside Services Friday; April 22, 2011 at 2pm, Washington State Veterans Cemetery, 21702 West Espanola Road, Medical Lake, WA, Memorial Service: Friday April 22, 2011 3:30 pm at New Hope Christian Center, North 1108 Argonne, Spokane Valley, WA -" Musical Selections: "I'm Free", "Amazing Grace", and "This Is Just What Heaven Means To Me". Honorary Bearers: Kevin Heck, Fred H. Howard, Constance A. Morigeau. A dinner will follow the services: It will be held at Duane and Christina Palmer's residence located at 11220 East 22nd Ave., Spokane Valley, WA. All are welcome to attend.
Ted was loved by all his family and will be greatly missed.
