September 1, 1976 - April 11, 2011
Tera Jones (34) passed away April 11, 2011 while recovering from surgery at her home in Redmond, WA. She continues to be in the loving arms of her wonderful Savior Jesus Christ.
Tera was born on September 1, 1976 to Roy and Michelle Jones-Helgesen in Spokane, Washington. She attended Mead High School, Spokane and Trinity Christian College, Chicago, IL, where she completed her BA. She went on to attain her Masters Degree at Seattle Pacific University. Tera became a Mental Health Counselor, a field where she could advise and help children and had been living in Seattle, WA for the past 14 years.
Tera's passions were helping others and the love for her beloved Lab, Hope. She had a great love for animals since she was a small child.
Tera was preceded in death by her father, the late Roy Jones on November 23, 2010. She is survived by her mother, Michelle Helgesen and Michelle's fiancé, Michael, both from Surprise, Arizona; her grandmother, Jean Lloyd, Wenatchee, WA; her uncle and aunt, Ken and Barb Lloyd and their children Emma and Rachel, Portland, OR; uncle and aunt Rick and Paula Benge and their children Olivia, Grace and Audrey of Wenatchee, WA; aunt Linda Cruz and children, Austin, TX; and uncle Bill Krueger, Redmond, WA; aunt Sirinda Krueger, Winthrop, WA; and her Lab, Hope.
Tera will be greatly missed by all her family and close friends.
Donations in Tera's memory can be made to the Humane Society of Seattle, WA.
A memorial service to celebrate Tera's life will be held Friday, April 29, 2011 at 2:00 pm at Celebration Lutheran Church, 801 8th Street NE, East Wenatchee, WA 98802.

I was just passed this obituary from my family in Spokane. I am so saddened to hear this news. Tera was my oldest childhood friend. Too many memories to count.
My heart goes out to Shelley and family. Please know that Tera and family are in my heart and thoughts.
