Thelma Dauenhauer Obituary

April 16, 1922 - October 27, 2013 Dauenhauer, Thelma A. (Tootles) Thelma passed away October 27th, 2013. She was born April 16th, 1922, in Oelrichs, SD, to Abner and Margaret Hamilton. Thelma was the oldest of three siblings, who all preceded her in death. In 1943, Thelma married Frank Dauenhauer and they spent 64 wonderful years together. They enjoyed camping, playing cards, and spending time with their grandchildren. After Frank retired, they enjoyed traveling and spending their winters in Arizona, as they were avid baseball fans. Thelma is survived by her two sons, Richard (Connie) Dauenhauer, James (Gretchen) Dauenhauer, and three grandsons, Lucas (Joel), Matt (Kathy), and Seth Dauenhauer. Thelma is also survived by her inlaws, Violetta Ward, and Nick Dauenhauer, and numerous nieces and nephews. The family wishes to thank Hospice and Guardian Angel Homes for their excellent care. A memorial service will be held at St. Mark's Lutheran Church, 316 E. 24th Ave, Spokane, WA 99203, on November 7th, at 1pm.
