Tom was born November 8, 1921 and passed away peacefully on April 25, 2011 at age 89. Parents Francis and Esther raised several children in Salt Lake City of which he is survived by sister Naomi Hogue of Colorado Springs.

Learning the sheet metal trade as a teenager Tom contributed to America's Civil Service during WWII in Hawaii repairing aircraft. His professional music career started shortly thereafter and carried him across the country singing and playing guitar.

Tom was married to his life's love Katherine R. Kelp from 1957 until her untimely death in 2003. They raised four children: Lynn, Ron, Larry and Christy (Hargrave). Living mainly in the Spokane area are: seven grandchildren- Nada, Mary, Jason, Jenny, Brad, Sophia and Alex; niece, Gail Rybicki and great-grandchildren Aurora and Layden.

Tom's favorites were Katherine, music and crossword puzzles. He was also very charitable to patriotic causes (ask the mail carrier!). His last public performance was at age 88 and he continued to use a manual reel mower his entire life, even up to last summer!

At Tom's request no formal service will be held. Our memories shall continuously and gratefully honor this full life.
