Born May 3, 1960 in Spencer, WV; entered into rest March 26, 2011 in Spokane, WA. Vickie is survived by her son, Jay Williams of Spokane; sister, Teresa Rea of Hartford, KY; brothers, Jesse P. Williams II of Owensboro, KY and Michael W. Williams of Mead, WA. A private family service will be held at a later date. RIPLINGER FUNERAL HOME AND CREMATORY, SPOKANE, WA in care of arrangements.

Jay Paul, I only met your mom a few times, but the love she had for you was clear in the kind words of her friends and family. I will miss Vickie every day for the rest of my life. She was a special friend of mine. I'm thankful for all the memories and good times we spent together. She was taken to early, God must have a special purpose for her. She was a great friend as well as a loving mother. My thoughts and prayers go out to J Paul and her family. When we were young children, I used to spend my summers with Vickie, Teresa, J.P. and Mikey in Ravenswood. We truly had great times together. God Bless the Williams family.

May I offer thoughts and prayers to the family members that are left behind with the passing of Vickie. She will be missed by those that both loved and knew her. My memories of. Vickie are of her as a little girl that followed me and her sister around just trying to be part of the fun we had back on our grandmothers farm. Vickie, I don't have words. You truly inspired me. The undying love you had for your son touched my heart in so many ways. I can remember as clear as day four days before your soul went to rest you looking me in the eyes and with so much passion expressing all the love you had for your little boy. I had never seen so much strength, so much love and devotion beam out of someone. I with out a doubt can say I felt your soul. My sweet little sister,
It doesn't seem fair that you would pass so young. I'll never forget the part of our lives that we spent together, they seem like only yesterday.
In my heart I'll think of them fondly and smile.
The two little sisters who shared their bedroom in Ghana, to the two grown women who shared a home for a time. I always thought that we would see each other again, and will pray forever that we do. Because I love you, and love is forever!
