DAVIS, Warren Harrison "Kipp", Jr.

Born July 26, 1951, passed away in his home on March 12, 2011 with his loving wife, Barbara, by his side, after a six month battle with pancreatic cancer. Kipp was an avid painter and photographer in both his work and personal life. He enjoyed a career at the University of Washington for over 30 years as a sign painter retiring in September 2010. He painted portraits of his children, grandchildren, and animals that adorn the walls of his and his family's homes. His art and photography are published in books and national magazines. He loved to travel, and took many vacations that included ventures to Hawaii, France, and Mexico with his family. Most importantly, he loved very deeply and he lived his life to the fullest.
Kipp is preceded in death by his father, Warren H. Davis Sr., mother, Mary-Jane Davis and sister, Nancy Crowe. He is survived by his wife, Barbara Berst Adams, his children, Lauren Parker and her husband, Eric, Austin Davis and his fiancée, Emily, Elise Berst-Perkins, Jereme Berst-Perkins and his wife Nicole and three grandchildren, Joshua Parker, Evelyn Parker and Cameron Berst-Perkins. He fought his battle with courage and grace, and will be fondly remembered and missed by an extensive network of family and friends. A celebration of his life will be held on Saturday, March 26 from 1:00-4:00 PM at the Vantage Point Room above La Conner Seafood & Prime Rib in La Conner, WA.
