COUTTS, Warren Mason
(Age 89)

Passed away of natural causes on February 9, 2011. Born in Seattle, WA on December 2, 1921; the only child of Corneilus Maxwell and Evelyn Alice (Trigg) Coutts. At the age of five the family moved from Issaquah, WA to the family farm in Ethel, WA. He worked in the ship yards in Hawaii until the attack on Pearl Harbor and immediately joined the Army Air Corps and was an aircraft engineer during the war. He met and married Viola Parnel in 1948. They lived in Centralia, WA and after a few years moved back to the family farm with their two small daughters Carol and Karen. After five years the family moved to Bellevue, WA where they welcomed another daughter Sue. In 1959 they moved to the Spokane Valley where they have lived until Warren's passing. He enjoyed drawing, photography and traveling. He is survived by his loving wife of 63 years, Vi; daughters Carol, Karen and son-in-law Bob and Sue. Warren was blessed with four grandchildren Eric (Kristen), Marc (DeeAnn), Shane and Molly and six great grandchildren Garrett, Paige, Jaden, Carter, Issabella and Abigail. The family wishes to express their deepest gratitude to the doctors and staff at Sullivan Park Care Center. Services will be held at a later date.
