Wayne Ream Obituary

REAM,
Wayne Roy
(Woolridge)

Wayne Roy (Wooldridge) Ream, 65, died on Tuesday, February 22, 2011, at home in Bonners Ferry, Idaho. Wayne was born in Salem, Oregon, on December 7, 1945, to Madeliene Louise Tate and Roy Joseph Wooldridge, who later divorced. Wayne was raised by his mother and stepfather, John Emery Ream, and attended schools in Salem, Oregon, Klamath, California, Vancouver, Washington, Fort Smith in the Northwest Territories of Canada, and Bonners Ferry. Wayne graduated from Bonners Ferry High School in 1964 where he served as student body president, played football, and made lifelong friends. These were some of the happiest years of his life. Wayne briefly attended the University of Idaho, and proudly served his country in the Idaho Army National Guard. He later moved to Spokane, Washington where he met and married Diane Morgan. On October 19, 1969, Wayne's only child, Christopher, was born. Wayne and Diane later divorced. Wayne was a successful, gifted car salesman for many years, which took him and Chris to Oregon, Alaska, and Washington. Wayne eventually moved to Boise, Idaho, to be closer to his parents. Following retirement, Wayne traveled throughout the western United States and resided briefly in Great Falls, Montana. Late in his life Wayne returned to Bonners Ferry, a place of many fond memories and renewed old friendships. Wayne was preceded in death by his mother, father, birth father and first wife, Diane. He is survived by his son Chris (Kimberly) of Lake Stevens, Washington and two grandchildren, Hunter and Preston; his brothers, Kent (Renee) Wooldridge of Albany, Oregon; and Alan (Diane) of Sheridan, Oregon; sisters Robin (Mark) Severson of LaVista, Nebraska; Pat (Stan) Sorensen of South Jordan, Utah; and Pam (Larry) Bearg of Boise, and numerous nieces and nephews. Memorial services and a sharing of memories will be held for family and friends at 1pm on Tuesday, March 1, 2011, at Mountain Springs Church in Bonners Ferry.

Wayne my Starshine guy --like we recently said, it seems all our lives we had to say "goodbye to each other"..It began when we were in love as young teens - you were the first boy to kiss me and all.You had to return to the US, Years later, we saw each other again...in the early 70s and it was "goodbye again". When we reconnected in 2007 it was glorious! Our honeymoon week in Seattle the week of Feb 23, 2008 was you said " 5 days of bliss"! We travelled the coast together and we were together for about 4 yrs. In Sept 2010 we said "goodbye again" for a short term until things sorted out. but we were in continual contact...now my life long love --I have to say goodbye forever until we meet again in heaven- I love you -miss you --Your MuffinCakes (Muffy) BarbaraAnn.
