BANKS, Stanley Ludlow "Stan" (Age 83) Went peacefully to be with our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on February 14, 2014 in Spokane. He was born October 27, 1930 in Unionville, Connecticut, the son of David and Gertrude (Terrell) Banks. He is preceded in death by his wife of 50 years Hilda, and his brother, Reginald Banks. He is survived by his children: Brenda (Kevin) Blair of Davenport, Michael Banks, and David (Brenda) Banks of Spokane; grandchildren: Jacob Hodge, Jon Hodge, Madison Banks; and great-granddaughter, Alexis Hodge; and numerous nieces and nephews. Stan was a retired Master Sergeant from the Air Force, a veteran of Korea and Viet Nam. He was a long time member of United Methodist Church and the American Legion. The family would like to thank Amy and Dr. Mroch from the Kidney Clinic for caring for Stan for the last 5 years. A Memorial Service will be Saturday, March 15, 2014 at 1 PM and will be conducted at Audubon Park United Methodist Church, 3908 N Driscoll, Spokane. Private family inurnment will be at Greenwood Memorial Terrace. Memorial contributions can be made to Audubon Park United Methodist Church memorial committee.
