HARTILL, Kimmberly A. (Collins) (Age 41) Was born in Spokane to Mike and Kathy Collins, and passed away in Spokane. Kim met the love of her life, getting married to her best friend, Timothy J. Hartill on January 9, 1999 at the Gathering Place in Spokane. She is the mother of six children: John, Jamie (Derek) Barnes, Becca (Blaine), Leeza (Josh) Oracion, Nicole and Ryan; grandmother of four: Riley and Katie Barton, James Oracion, Darryn Rupp, and one more on the way; siblings Michael Collins II and Kristin Beach. She is survived by numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins. In 2003 Kim went to SCC for a degree in Criminal Justice (AAS Corrections), graduating on the Vice President Honor Role. A medical condition made it where she could not follow her dream, She worked in a group home caring for children. In June 2008, she was diagnosed with ALS, causing her to resign in 2009. In later years she enjoyed family and trips to the Oregon Coast. The struggle with her health overcame her on March 28th, with her family and best friend at her side. A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, April 5th at 1:00 PM at Hennessey-Smith Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to ALS or Horizon Hospice in Kim's name.
