THORNBURG, Geraldine M. "Geri" Passed away May 10, 2014 in Spokane, WA her home West End of the Spokane Indian Reservation. She is survived by three children William J. "Billy" Tonasket, Mary "JoAnn" Tonasket and Gerald "Jed" Manuel along with 23 grandchildren and several great-grandchildren; and her sister-in-law Marge Carson. Geri has numerous nieces and nephews and friends. Geri is preceded in death by her parents Charles and Carmelita (Brown) Thornburg, two husbands Bud Tonasket and Wallace "Dopey" Manuel and three children Charles, Virgil and Bobbi Jo Tonasket, two brothers Harold and Everett and a sister Mary Ellen. Geri is a member of the Spokane Tribe of Indians, worked 20 years as a lookout at the Spokane Reservation watch tower and 10 years at the Two Rivers Casino. Geri enjoyed traveling, watching the Seattle Mariners and word search puzzle books. A wake service will be held on Wednesday, May 14, 2014 at 7:00 PM the Fruitland Bible Camp. The funeral service will be held on Thursday, May 15, 2014 at 10:00 AM at the Fruitland Bible Camp followed by burial at the Julia Brown Cemetery, Fruitland, WA.
