SARAT, Janet (Wrede) (Age 69) Has left our world unexpectedly to be at home in Heaven. Born on March 5, 1945 in Midland, TX to Dr. Henry F. and Ann Wrede. Janet graduated from Marycliff High School in Spokane, WA and continued on to St. Francis Xavier Cabrini Hospital School of Nursing in Seattle, WA. After graduating college, she worked as a Labor and Delivery registered nurse in Great Falls, MT. Soon after, she met the love of her life on a blind date. Janet was a loving wife to her true sweet heart of 46 years, her husband Bart. They loved spending time together, whether it was watching movies, having special dinners, or on their annual trips to Seattle for shopping and a Yankee game. Janet loved being a mother in every way. She had the patience of a saint, the ability to make her children feel that anything was possible and a phone call to mom made everything better. Janet was a proud Nana to her granddaughter, Elizabeth Rae. She enjoyed reading her books, baking cupcakes and teaching her the lessons of becoming a fine, young lady. Family was most important to Janet. Whether it was family holidays or vacations to Hawaii, she made anytime spent together special. Janet was a doer and loved life! She experienced the world at a young age in a military family and continued to bring home special treasures from her travels throughout her life. Janet was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church. She loved gardening, needlepoint, water aerobics, trips to the casino and of course, shopping! Janet is survived by her husband, Bart; children Tracy Donoghue (Mark), Chris Sarat, and Kim Cary (Todd) all of Spokane, WA. She is also survived by a granddaughter, Elizabeth Rae Cary; sisters Geri Whitehead of Groveland, FL, Clare Silvey (Mike) of Veradale, WA; sisters-in-law Mary Ann Barton of Newport, WA and Kristi Wrede of Cheney, WA, as well as numerous nieces, nephews, great-nieces and nephews, several cousins and numerous friends whom she loved so much.
