CROSSE, Julie Joy (Huebschman) Died on July 29th, 2014 at the VA Medical Center in Spokane after a brief illness. Julie was born on August 2nd, 1961 in Sheboygan, Wisconsin to parents Audrey (Sander) and Merlin Huebschman. She graduated from Stoughton High School, Wisconsin and then enlisted in the United States Air Force. Following her time in the Air Force, she settled in Spokane, which she has called home for more than 25 years. She served in the Washington Air National Guard and was deployed to Saudi Arabia during Operation Desert Shield/Desert Storm. Julie graduated from Eastern Washington University in 1995 with a BA in Business Administration. She was an elder at Bethany Presbyterian Church, and was most recently employed by West Corporation. She is preceded in death by her mother Audrey and brother Eric. She is survived by her father, Merlin "Dutch" Huebschman and step-mother Karen (Lenss) Huebschman of Spooner, Wisconsin; brother Mark Huebschman, sister-in-law Patricia, nieces Sophia and Kenzie and nephew Kurt of Stuttgart, Germany; and her beloved Pomeranian, Chester. A memorial service celebrating Julie's life will be held at 11:00 on Friday, August 15th at Bethany Presbyterian Church, 2607 S. Ray St., Spokane.
