CARUSO, Sharon A. (Age 73) Sharon passed away of natural causes on August 22, 2014. She was mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister and wife. Born to Mike and Alice Morgan, she was the second of four daughters. Sharon lived near Elvis at the height of his fame and recounted the fun of being in the thick of things. Sharon worked for Proctor and Gamble and attended the University of Tennessee before getting married and starting her family. She enjoyed hosting family and friends for dinners, get togethers, playing games and vacationing. Family was very important to Sharon and so she set aside her fear of heights, speed and winding mountain roads to undertake skiing so that she could be together with those she loved. She was a gentle and caring person, devoted mother and friend of many including Bill W. She touched many lives and her influence will continue to impact future generations. Sharon's Catholic faith was an important part of who she was and she prayed every day for safety and guidance for her immediate and extended family. She will be missed by the community, her many friends and loved ones. Sharon is survived by her six children and 13 grandchildren: Tony (Christy, Lauren, Sam), Joe (Lee, Lucas, Maya), Steve (Deena, Adam, Alyssa, Sophia), Pete (Kari, Megan, Sydney, Benny), Bob Caruso (Christy and Jake) and Angela (Ryan, Rylan and Zae) Galbavy; five great-grandchildren; her two sisters, Shirley Fitzgerald (Jack) and Suzanne McConnell (Danny) as well as numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. She was preceded in death by her sister, Sandra and her parents. A Rosary/Vigil will be held September 2nd beginning at 7 PM at Assumption Parish Church (3624 W. Indian Trail Rd). A Funeral Mass will be held on September 3rd at 4:30 PM, also at Assumption Parish Church. A reception will follow the funeral at Assumption Gym.
