WASSON, Benjamin J. (Age 33) Ben Wasson, our beloved son and brother, slipped the bonds of earth early onDecember 22, 2009. Ben is survived by his parents Paul and Monica Wasson, his brother Tom, his sisterAndrea McIntyre, his brother- in-law Matty McIntyre, his nieces Julia and Olivia McIntyre, his grandparents Glenn ad Sonia Shepard, and his great-aunt June Stein. He is also survived by numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins. He was preceded in death by grandparents Paul and Emma Wasson and Trudy Shepard. Ben was a gift from God to all who knew him. His silence spoke volumes about love, compassion, and humility. We greatly miss him, but we know he is now free of his handicaps, in the arms of his heavenly Father. The family extends heartfelt thanks to all who cared for Ben: The staff at L.I.F.E., particularly Teresa Garvin-Jackson and Don Atwell; DeaconessHospital and St. Luke's Rehabilitation; The Spokane Guild School, particularly Dick Boysen and Marilyn Henderson; School District 81 and Mead School District; Bill and Pam Small; George ad Betty Baxter; Georgia and LewisPollard; Ron Stose; and Lakeland Village. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to The Spokane Guild School, 2118 W. Garland Ave., Spokane, WA 99205. Ben's memorial Mass will be held at St. Aloysius Catholic Church, 330 E.
