BRIANT, Kenneth (Age 82) Passed away on September 22, 2010 in Spokane, WA. He was born on May 8, 1928 in Yakima, WA to Charles and Elizabeth Briant. He graduated from Colville High School in 1945 and then enlisted in the U. S. Coast Guard from 1946 to 1948. Some of the jobs that Ken held and enjoyed were crop duster, bush pilot and owner of Empire Electric in Odessa, WA. He was a member of the Lions Club in Odessa, WA and a member of Glastonbury Society of St. Stephens Episcopal Church in Spokane, WA. Ken was preceded in death by his parents; wife Ruth; son James K. Briant; brother Charles A. Briant; nephew Steve Williams. He is survived by wife Jean; two stepsons Vance Shaw and wife Christine, Christopher Shaw and wife Carolyn; three stepgrandsons, Jared, Daniel and Stuart; two nephews Gary Briant and David Williams; two nieces. A memorial service will be held on Wednesday, September 29, 2010 at 2 p.m. at St. Stephens Episcopal Church. Memorial contributions may be made to Hospice House of Spokane, PO Box 2215, Spokane, WA 99210 or charity of your choice.
