Donald Jack Sr
Mst. Sgt. USAF (Ret.) (Age 84)

Born May 12, 1927, Donald passed away at home September 11, 2011. Donald proudly served in the United States Air Force for 23 years and was the recipient of the
Distinguished Flying Cross. He retired from the military in 1974 as a Master Sergeant. He then became a long haul truck driver, sharing his passion for the road with his son-in-law Fred and stepson Michael, retiring in 1992. He was an avid fisherman and a lifetime member of the V.F.W.
Donald is survived by the love of his life of 33 years, Bobbie Neil. Together they shared eight children: Donna (Fred) Smith, Steve (Julie) Pangburn, Terri (Rod) Basinger, Duane (Laurel) Pangburn, Donald "Butch" Jack (Kathy) Neil, Jr., Michael (Debra) Pangburn, Danny Neil, Mary (Todd) Hodgkinson; 14 grandchildren; and 16 great-grandchildren.
An honor service will be held Friday, September 16, 2011, at 11:15 AM, at the Washington State Veterans' Cemetery, 21702 W. Espanola Rd., Medical Lake, WA. Gathering of friends and family to follow at Valley Bowl, 8005 E. Sprague, Spokane Valley, WA. Memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of Spokane, PO Box 2215, Spokane, WA 99210.
