Dear Unruh Family, My sincere sympathy. Mr. Unruh was my 8th grade teacher at Garfield Elementary. I am so glad that I have such a wonderful memory of him. Blessings for a wonderful New Year,

The Washington State Veterans Cemetery extends our deepest sympathies to the family of Harold D. Unruh. We honor him for the service and sacrifice he has made for our nation, he is a true hero.

Mr. Unruh was my eighth grade Algebra teacher. But he turned out to be much more than that. He inspired me to change direction in my life. He was, by far, the best teacher I had. Also one of the biggest influencers. He was a great man and is missed. Happy trails, Mr Unruh.
