BERGMAN, Donald D.
(Age 80)

On December 7th 2016, surrounded by his family CMSgt USAF/WANG Ret. Donald D. Bergman (Bergy) passed away peacefully into the arms of Jesus.
Donald was born in Overton, NE on April 19, 1936. He was the second son of Kermit Carl and Fern Ester Bergman. Preceded in death by his loving wife Nelda, his brothers Alan, Darrel and his parents. He is survived by his children Pamela (Dan) Spickler, Douglas, Vickie (Bob) Propp, Christine Gorton, Denise Collins; grandchildren, Travis (Heather), Heather (Dave), Sarah (Casey), Brian (Jen), Alicia, Anthony, Kristi, Jaclyn (Justin), Jason, Jessica, Ashley. He was blessed with great-grandchildren; Rylan, Lili, Ava, Christian, Dakota, Canyen, Capri, Becca and Lizzie. Sister Janice (Ed) Murphy, brothers John (Carolyn), Wendle (Beverly), Mike (Sharon). One brother-in-law Don Skeen (Sharon) and a sister-in-law Sheila. Nelda and Donald were married in 1955. They moved to Spokane Valley, WA in 1958 with Pamela and Doug. They had three more kids shortly after. They settled in Veradale, raising their five kids on a produce farm. Donald began growing Christmas trees in about 1977. He then opened Bergman's Tree Farm in 1984 to the present day. Donald spent 36 impeccable years serving our country, in which we are so proud.
Services will be held at the Intersection Church, 905 N. McDonald, Spokane Valley, on Thursday, December 15th, at 11 am. A burial will follow at Pines Cemetery.

Donnie was my first Cousin, very sorry to hear of his passing, condolences to all the Brothers, Sis Janice, children and Grandchildren, what a great man. I really enjoyed all the pictures. When I looked at Donnie I would see my Father. R.I.P. Cousin
