I'll never forget her foot massage while she figured out what my feet where telling her. Her humor in tact the whole entire time! Rest in Peace Sally. You are my nieces grandma, and will forever remain so. To the family: Hugs! - Jennifer Freeman

That house was definitely rockin'! As a kid, I loved looking at all her cool artwork. Prayers from the Lynch family.

Growing up around the corner we, as kids, tested all the neighborhood parents. Sally was a force and we respected her. She was a loving and talented woman and all who knew her will greatly miss her.

Sally was a beacon to those that knew her and I am grateful I had the pleasure to have been in her presence.

The Cliff Park neighborhood was home to the nicest families - and the Pierones were among the best. Nick, Peri, and Dino: Sally was one-of-a-kind and you are truly fortunate to call her "MOM". Her story is fascinating, and the obituary describes her to a "T" - I was smiling and nodding while reading every word.

To all the Pierone Family,
Sally was a constant presence and gift to so many lives,
including all the Ferris family.
She knew my father Joel and Mary Jean before they knew
each other! She was fun, brilliantly talented, warm, engaging,
kind, and a terrific human being. Life was better when Sally
was around. Her warmth and energy were endless.
She taught me to "open my eyes" in a swimming pool one warm
summer day. Decades later, I told her she helped me open
my eyes to life and she did. She embraced life with such
passion and enthusiasm. What an inspiration she was and
always will be. Sending love, Sara Ferris

My sincere condolences to the Pierone family. Sally was a joy to be around, and I always looked forward to walking the short distance to play with Nick and visit with Sally some 55 years ago. Whenever Nick brought a note from home to school, our teacher and classmates were treated to the imaginative artwork Sally added to each hand drawn message.
