News Death Notice CAMPBELL, Esther M. "Gert" 87, passed away peacefully on Thursday, August 27, 2015. She was born December 11, 1927 the daughter of Otha and Myrtle Winland. Mrs. Campbell was retired from the Ohio Masonic Home after nearly thirty years as a nurse aide. She truly enjoyed her job and was always a very dedicated and caring individual. Survivors include her husband of 60 years; Wilburn Campbell, children; James and Barb McCullough, South Vienna, Cathy York, Missouri, Kay Dotson and Jeanette Hall, Springfield, grandchildren; Allen McCullough, Jennifer McCullough, Teresa McFaul, Chuck York, Rick Wallen, Anthony Hall and Andrew Hall, 16 great grand children, one brother; Raymond Winland and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by grandchildren; Darren McCullough, Bobby McCullough, Becky York, Vicki York and Rob Wallen and her parents. Funeral services will be held at 2:00PM Tuesday in the JONES - KENNEY - ZECHMAN FUNERAL HOME with Pastor Rick Clos officiating. Friends may visit with the family for one hour prior to the services. Burial will follow in South Vienna Cemetery.

News Death Notice CONNOR, Jr., William D. (Bill) 79, of The Villages, FL, formerly of New Carlisle, Ohio passed away on August 26, 2015 at the Ohio Masonic Home, Springfield, Ohio. He was born on December 11, 1935 in Springfield, Ohio to William D. & Helen Connor. Bill served 4 years in the Air Force before his employment at WPAFB as a computer system analyst. He retired from WPAFB in 1995 so he and his wife, Ruth could enjoy ocean cruises, bingo, card games and their summer place on the Ohio River with their family. Survivors include his wife Ruth Ann (Johnson) of 55 years, son: William Scott Connor (Julie), daughter: Karen (Robert) Lokai, 4 grandchildren: Megan Lokai, Jake Lokai, Cassandra Connor and Coleton Connor, 1 great grandchild: Bryce Robert Lokai, all of New Carlisle, Ohio, 2 sisters: Eunice (Charles) Bronkar & Rebecca Bright, sister-in-law Drena Connor and many nieces and nephews and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, 2 brothers and 4 sisters. Bill was a dual member of the Masonic Lodge # 100 in New Carlisle, OH and Lodge # 394, The Villages, FL, along with Scottish Rite of Ocala, FL. The family would like to express their appreciation to the Doctors, the 4th Floor Rehab staff at Miami Valley Hospital, the 3rd floor Nursing Staff at Ohio Masonic Home and other caring friends at the Masonic Home. A gathering of family and friends will be held on Monday, August 31, 2015 from 10:30 AM to 11:30 AM with services directly following at the TROSTEL, CHAPMAN, DUNBAR & FRALEY FUNERAL HOME, New Carlisle, Ohio. Burial will take place at Glen Haven Memorial Gardens after services. The family requests in lieu of flowers donations be made to Alzheimer's Family Organization of Florida, the Ohio Masonic Home or donor's choice. News Death Notice CARPENTER (Foulk), Lois A. 90, of New Carlisle, Ohio passed away Thursday, August 27, 2015 at Eaglewood Care Center. She was born August 28, 1924 in Mechanicsburg, Ohio the daughter of the late Clarence & Florence (Sumpter) Foulk. She retired from Belle Manor Nursing Home and worked as a home care giver for many years. She is survived by two sons, Todd "Rusty" & Linda Eggleston, Tom & Joyce Eggleston; two daughters, Marty & Gerry Rochon, Connie & John Cairl; beloved grandchildren; great grandchildren; a sister, Eloise Lake; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by three brothers, Jack, Jim & Ed Foulk. Graveside services will be 10:30 AM Tuesday, September 1, 2015 at the Maple Grove Cemetery, Mechanicsburg, Ohio. Special thanks to the staff at Eaglewood Care Center for the loving care she received. COLLINS, James L.* - Springfield  
News Death Notice COLLINS, James L. Was called home by the Lord Saturday, August 22, 2015. He was born in Springfield on August 1, 1948, the son of Robert H. and Ilo M. Collins. James received an associate degree from Clark State University and worked at WPAFB for 25 years until taking a medical retirement. He is survived by his mother Ilo Maxine Collins of Medway; his brother Robert Collins of Springfield; Robert Collins' children: Michelle, Tracy, and Robert Jr. of Denver, CO.; Aunt Thelma Thomlinson and her son Ronald of MI. and her other son, David, of NE; cousins Jerry Shoemaker of Charlottesville, VA. and John Shoemaker of Fairborn, OH.; as well as his beloved cat Libby. He was preceded in death by his father Robert Collins. James was a member of the Medway United Methodist Church and the Medway American Legion. He enjoyed college football and watching the Reds and the Yankees. A grave side service will be held at 10 o'clock Friday, August 28, 2015 at Ferncliff cemetery. COPEN, Jacquelyn Marlene (Young)* - Springfield  
News Death Notice COPEN (Young), Jacquelyn Marlene "Jackie" Age 76, passed away in her home on Tuesday, August 25, 2015 after a brief illness. She was born October 17, 1938, in Springfield, Ohio, the daughter of the late Theodore and Alberta (Martin) Young. Jackie lived in Springfield and worked many years for Dr. Migally, a local dermatologist. Survivors include husband Jerry, daughter Tamra (Mark) Wiseman, sons Matt, Mark, and Chris; grandchildren Jacquelynn D. (Dani Jo) Kouse and partner Jackie Atzenhoefer, Jim R. Gray and Tyler Wiseman; sisters Sandra Burnett of Cleveland, OH, Nancy (Gary) Gray and brother Chuck (Lori) Young; numerous nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by sister Roberta Might, brother Theodore Young, Jr., brother-in-law James Burnett, uncle Robert Martin and aunt Marguerite Martin. A Celebration of Life will be held on Monday, August 31 at 1:00 p.m. at Littleton & Rue Funeral Home. Relatives and friends are welcome.
