GRAY, Timothy W.* - Springfield  
News Death Notice GRAY, Timothy W. 62, of Springfield, passed away Wednesday evening, March 18, 2015 at Springfield Regional Medical Center. He was born in Springfield, Ohio on February 6, 1953, the son of the late William E. and Donna (Rickards) Gray. Tim worked as a welder at Springfield Metal Finishing. He is survived by a daughter, Joey Howard of Akron, Indiana; three grandchildren, Mickenzie Gray, Shelby and Wyatt Buck; four siblings, Tom (Bonnie) Gray of Wilder, Kentucky, Bill (Julie) Gray of Springfield, Sharon Maine of Springfield, and Bob Gray of Delaware, Ohio; a sister-in-law, Marie Gray of Mesa, Arizona; and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. He was preceded in death by a sister, Gloria Sherman and two brothers, Daniel and Larry Gray. A service in celebration of Tim's life will be held at 2:00 p.m. Saturday in Fellowship Christian Church, 2301 Valley Loop Rd., Springfield. The LITTLETON & RUE FUNERAL HOME is serving the family. GREEN, John D. (Danny)* - Springfield  
News Death Notice GREEN, John D. "Danny" 77, of Springfield, died peacefully on March 24, 2015 with family by his side. "Danny" was born on June 24, 1937 to Edna Flora. He served in the Navy and then the U. S. Army and worked as a mailman for several years. He enjoyed bonfires and cookouts with this family, fishing, casinos and old country music and loved to watch western movies and wrestling. Survivors include one son; Paul Green and Rebecca West whom he proudly called his daughter-in-law, her son; Scott West, all of whom he lived with for the past 10 months, one daughter; Beverly Green of Springfield, one grandchild; Stacy (Tyler) Frazier, four great grandchildren; Jaden Wilson, Bentlee, Sa Mya and Enslie Frazier, nephew; David Green, several nieces including one of great support; Cheryl Aldrich, poker buddies; John (Tina) West and Harley Kittle and his Big Baby Dallas and Zombie. The family would like to thank Vickey and Tasha Jones, Cheryl Aldrich and Community Mercy Hospice for all the love and support during Danny's declining health. He was preceded in death by his mother, four brothers; Robert, Donald, Charles and Paul "P. W." Green and one sister; Beverly Erter. You were an amazing man and will be missed greatly. Private services will be held with Rev. Danny Miller officiating. Burial will be in Myers Cemetery. Arrangements are being handled by the JONES - KENNEY - ZECHMAN FUNERAL HOME.

News Death Notice GRUBBS, Michael D. 70 of Bellefontaine passed away unexpectedly Saturday, March 21, 2015 at his residence. He was born December 6, 1944 in Bellefontaine to the late Robert and Olive (Bibb) Grubbs. Mr. Grubbs worked for Honda in quality control, and was a member of the Indian Lake Moose Chapter #1533. He enjoyed movies, riding his motorcycle, and watching the Cleveland Browns & Ohio State Buckeyes. Survivors include his daughters Diane (Kim) Greenbaum, Lori Spencer, and Teresa (Jeff) Vogel; brothers Robert J. (Elaine) Grubbs Jr., Rick (Chris) Grubbs; grandchildren Danielle and Adam Harrigan, Andrea and Allyson Greenbaum, Derek and Weston Spencer; great grandchildren Brooks Johnson, Amarah Harrigan, Evan Greenbaum, Laila and Tyson Herford, and Alexis Spencer; several nieces and nephews. He was precceded in death by a sister Barbara Nix, and brother Charles "Chuck" Grubbs. A celebration of life will take place 6:00p.m. Friday, March 27, 2015 at Jennings Farley Funeral Home West Liberty. Where family and friends may gather from 3:00p.m. until the time of service. GRAY, John W.* - Yellow Springs  
News Death Notice GRAY, John W. 70, of Yellow Springs, passed away on Thursday, March 19, 2015 at Kettering Hospital. He was born on April 8, 1944, the son of the late William and Maxine (Phillips) Gray. After graduating high school, John enlisted in the United States Navy and served proudly for 4 years. Soon after, he began working for Vernay Laboratories where he retired after 30 years of service. He was an avid Cleveland Browns fan and loved his Yellow Springs Bulldogs, whom he supported for many years. He loved to karaoke and dance and was very proud of his 58' Chevy. Among the things he loved, his family was at the top of his list. He will always be remembered as the big man with an even bigger heart. He is survived by his children, William (Dawn) Beedy of Springfield, Kimberly (Todd) Beedy of Springfield and Shayne (Sara Miller) Gray of Yellow Springs; grandchildren, Chris (Kristen) Beedy of Springfield, Jeremy (Allison) of Columbus and Amelia Gray of Yellow Springs; great-grandchildren, Tyler, Alden and Piper; brothers, James (Donna) Gray of Indiana, Thomas (Evelyn) Gray of Yellow Springs and Michael Gray of Yellow Springs, best friend and cousin Joseph Beatty of Yellow Springs, second family John, Lynn, Sarah and Matt Finn; and several cousins, nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his beloved wife, Sue Carol Gray in 1997 and his parents. A gathering of family and friends will be held on Monday, March 23, 2015 from 5-8p.m. at Jackson Lytle & Lewis Funeral Home, Yellow Springs. Burial with military honors will be held Saturday March 28th at 11:00a.m. at St. Paul's Catholic Cemetery on Yellow Springs Fairfield Rd. in Yellow Springs with a gathering at St. Paul's Catholic Church, 308 Phillips St. Yellow Springs immediately following. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Breast Cancer Association, 10400 Little Patuxent Parkway, Suite 480, Columbia, Maryland 21044. GREENE, Elwood K.* - Springfield  
News Death Notice GREENE, Elwood K. 34 of Urbana died March 18, 2015. He was born in Springfield, Ohio on February 10, 1981, the son of Karl and Patricia Greene, Sr. Elwood was a member of the CWA Union 4320, working for AT & T Uverse. He proudly served in the US Army with three tours to Iraq. In his spare time he enjoyed playing pool, fishing and working on cars. He was preceded in death by his father Karl, Sr.; brother Karl, Jr. and his maternal and paternal grandparents. Survivors include his fiancé Megan N. Shields, whom he was planning to marry on April 25, 2015; mother and step father Patty (Paul) Buck Monroe; three children Micha, Rylan and Maleah Greene; siblings Jodi (Andrew) Powell, Gail Buck, Pam Perna, Paul Greene, Peggy Rouse and Kelly Swindell; special friend Brian (Trisha) Park; many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews & cousins. Visitation will be Sunday from 2-5pm in the Richards, Raff & Dunbar Memorial Home. A service to honor Elwood will be Monday at 11:00am in the Memorial Home with Phil Grear officiating.
