News Death Notice SCHMOLL, Wilhelm Of Springfield, OH, died July 25, 2015. "Willy" was born September 18, 1927 in Betchmen, Serbia, to Paul and Katharina Schmoll. He was married to Ida Schaetz Schmoll for 67 years who survives him. He is survived by daughters Wilhelmina Lusty (David) of North Venice, FL and Inge Goldschmidt of Cincinnati, OH. He was preceded in death by his son Carl. He is survived by grandsons Christopher Scott (Amy), Joakim Schmoll, Jonathan Bebb, Aaron Bebb and step-granddaughter Rya Lawrence (Tom). He is survived by his siblings Elsa Pospisil (John) and Philip Schmoll (Kathy), and preceded in death by Johanna Weber (Rudi) and Paul Schmoll (Marie). Willie and Ida immigrated to the U.S. as war refugees in 1951. He was a self-made businessman who owned his own mechanic's garage. An avid gardener, sausage maker, and a keen talker, Willy was proud of the life he made in America. Willy sponsored his parents, siblings and their families to immigrate to the U.S., all of whom fulfilled their American dreams. On Thursday, July 30, family will receive visitors 3-4 pm with a memorial service immediately following at RICHARDS, RAFF & DUNBAR MEMORIAL HOME, 838 E. High St., Springfield. News Death Notice SEAGRAVES, Tony R. Born October 17, 1964, went to be with his daughter Jessica, his father Robert, and sister Kim in Heaven on July 26, 2015. He leaves to carry on his memory daughters Brittany Seagraves and Whitney Seagraves; two grandchildren Avianna "Nay-Nay" Thomas and Brian "Bub" Thomas who he loved and enjoyed very much; his mother Wanda Seagraves and Thomas Hosier; sister and brother-in-law Tina and Harry Vititoe; sister Amanda Seagraves and Gary Call; brother Bobby Seagraves; several nieces and nephews including two special nephews Robo and Billy Seagraves; and special mother-in-law Barb Graham. He had many friends and loved all of his neighbors. He loved telling his jokes and making people laugh and listening to his music. A gathering of family and friends will be held from 6:00pm until 8:00pm Wednesday in the JONES-KENNEY-ZECHMAN FUNERAL HOME.

News Death Notice SNELL, Patricia J. 64, of Springfield, died Thursday July 23, 2015 in her residence. She was born November 25, 1950 in Springfield, Ohio, the daughter of Gene and Abigail Malone. Survivors include her sons; Chuck (Brandi) Williams, Jeff (Beverly) Williams and James (Mandy) Snell all of Springfield; nine grandchildren, Xavier, Mikayla, Ethan, Paige, Bryce, Taylor, Emma, Justin and Zoie; special friend, Debbie Johnson and Sherry Bain. She was preceded in death by her parents; son, Joseph Snell and sister, Mary Ellen Ross. A gathering of family and friends will be held from 12 p.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday August 1, 2015 in the LITTLETON & RUE FUNERAL HOME, where funeral services will follow at 2 p.m. Burial will follow in St. Bernard Cemetery. SNYDER, Clark Eugene* - Springfield  
News Death Notice SNYDER, Clark Eugene "Gene" 70 of Springfield, passed away Friday July 24, 2015 following a brief battle with cancer. He was born February 5, 1945, the son of the late Clark L. and Gladys (Wheaton) Snyder. Gene graduated from Madison Plains in 1963, served in the U.S. Navy during Vietnam, and had worked as a barber and a sales rep. for Brown and Williamson, Miami Cigar, and Keilson of Dayton. He was involved with Vernon Murphy Baseball of Springfield as an umpire, coach, manager, and league president. He was an avid fan of Ohio State and the Cincinnati Reds, and he loved flower gardening, woodworking, and always helping others. Survivors include his wife of 47 years, Lynn (Junk) Snyder; son and daughter-in-law, Brent and Marci of Dayton; grandsons who were the light of his life, Ben and Will; and special niece, Melissa Junk. Per Gene's request, there will be no visitation. Private services will be held at the JONES-KENNEY-ZECHMAN FUNERAL HOME, Springfield, OH. Burial will be in Ferncliff Cemetery, Springfield. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Community Mercy Hospice in Springfield.
