News Death Notice ARROWOOD, Rachel Lynn 29 of Springfield passed away Friday, May 20, 2016 in her residence. She was born in Springfield, Ohio on January 3, 1987, the daughter of Lanny and Carolyn Domanek. Rachel was a proud mother and wife. In her spare time she enjoyed singing Karaoke, fishing, cooking out with family and friends, and especially playing corn hole and volleyball. Rachel also enjoyed writing poetry and drawing. She was preceded in death by her maternal and paternal grandparents and several aunts and uncles. Survivors include her husband Rick Arrowood; parents; children Colin, Jasper, Dakota and Sophia Arrowood; sister Roxanne (Michael) Davis II; brother David (Angela) Domanek; mother-in-law Mary (Eric) Kern; father-in-law Rick (Marsha) Arrowood; several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins. Visitation will be Wednesday from 11:00 AM until time of services to honor Rachel at 1:00 PM in the RICHARDS, RAFF & DUNBAR MEMORIAL HOME with Preacher Jay Yeager officiating. News Death Notice DORSEY, Edward L. Passed away May 17, 2016. He was born July 14, 1943 in Washington. Georgia the son of Henry and Margaret (Tillman) Dorsey. Ed retired after more than 40 years in the retail and food industry. Mr. Dorsey volunteered at Perrin Woods Elementary School where his wife, Nena, is the Principal. His memory will be cherished by his wife, Dr. Nena Thames Dorsey; ex-wife and mother of his three children, Elinor Evans; children, Tracey A. Henry, Candace E. Dorsey and Kevin E. (LaKeta) Dorsey; 4 grandchildren, Sydnie, Kelli, Kameron and Karson Dorsey; siblings, Barbara (David) Hudson, Emma Jean (Walter) Heard, Carolyn Tillman, Constance Dorsey, Linda Dorsey, Beverly Gray and Robert (Charlotte) Dorsey. McKINNEY, Richard K.* - Springfield  
News Death Notice McKINNEY, Richard K. 60, of Springfield passed away Sunday, May 22, 2016 in Springfield Regional Medical Center. He was born on January 26, 1956 in Springfield, the son of the late Ralph and Ina (Lee) McKinney. He retired from Vinces Refuse Services after 30 plus years. Richard enjoyed watching NASCAR racing and spending time with family and friends. Survivors include one sister, Nancy Ferryman of Springfield; one brother, Donald (Juanita) McKinney of Springfield and numerous nieces and nephews. A very special thanks to Billie Sarven, Linda McKinney, Amie Sarven and Brandy Cox. He was preceded in death by one sister, Linda French and three brothers, Michael, William and Terry McKinney. The family would like to thank the ICU staff at Springfield Regional Medical Center. Inurnment will take place at a later date in the Glen Haven Memorial Gardens.

She was born on December 11, 1925 to Raymond and Colleta (Young) Brannick in Springfield, Ohio. Patricia was a member of Our Lady of Mount Carmel Catholic Church in Carmel; and a graduate of Catholic Central High School in Springfield, OH. She loved spending time with her grandkids and her dog, Katy; loved horses; and enjoyed reading and sewing. She is survived by her daughter, Kathy (Chris) Pappas; son, Richard (Ann) Kenney; grandchildren, Eric Kenney, Maureen (Chris) Steger and Kristene (Josh) Stevens; great-grandchild, Mason Stevens; and a sister, Christine Demana. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, John Marion Reese; two brothers, William Brannick and Robert Brannick; and a sister, Genevieve Waterman. News Death Notice ROBISON, Russell W. "Russ" 88, of Urbana, passed away on Thursday, May 12, 2016 in Mercy Memorial Hospital, Urbana. He was born April 5, 1928 in Urbana, OH, a son of Thaddeus H. and Josephine L. (Whiteside) Robison. Russ worked for 40 years at Kirby Hatcheries and 10 years at Western & Southern Life. He was the former vice president of the Ohio Poultry Association, a member for over 60 years of the Masons Harmony Lodge No. 8 and a member of Urbana Chapter RAM. Russ enjoyed fishing, bowling, golf and traveling and was an avid fan of Ohio State, Cincinnati Bengals and especially the Cincinnati Reds. Survivors include his wife, Mary F. (Dunn) Robison of Urbana, who he married on July 7, 1949; son-in-law, Gary Brandeberry of Urbana; grandchildren, Elyse Brandeberry and Haley Brandeberry, both of Florida; sisters, Doris (Eileen) Donahoe of Urbana and Judy Horsley of Urbana; brother, Roger Robison of Urbana; sister-in-law, Connie Robison; and numerous nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents; daughter, Mindi Jo (Robison) Brandeberry; and siblings, Ralph Robison, Norma Thomas and Wilma Wood. News Death Notice CAREY, Jeannette Frances 84, of Springfield, went home to be with the Lord on May 20, 2016. She was born October 14, 1931 in Springfield, the daughter of Noah and Lola (McConnehea) Richendollar. Mrs. Carey loved to have family around her all the time. Her hobbies were decorating, gardening and reading. She was a dedicated member of the Home Road Church of Christ in Christian Union and had been employed at ITT Jabsco for 25 years. She was married to Reverend Alfred Carey Jr., September 27, 1947 in Greenup, Kentucky. Together they had six children. Survivors include one daughter; Kathleen (James) Inskeep, four sons; Garry (Frances) Carey, Alfred James (Dianna) Carey, III, Jack (Karen) Carey and Ronald (Lavenna) Carey, 14 grandchildren, 22 great grandchildren, 3 great great grandchildren, one sister; Doris Cattell and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband of 59 years; Rev. Alfred J. Carey Jr., one son; Michael B. Carey, one brother; Donald Richendollar and her parents. Mom loved the Lord and did her best to set a Godly example. Visitation will be held from 11:00AM until 1:00PM Tuesday in the Home Road Church of Christ in Christian Union. Funeral services will be held at 1:00PM in the church with Rev. Nathan Carey officiating. Burial will follow in Rose Hill Burial Park.
