News Death Notice

ROWE, Charles Dearl Passed away on Wednesday, May 1, 2013. He was born on March 31, 1933 in Springfield, OH. He was preceded in death by his father and mother, Charles Otis and Helen (Hennon) Rowe, and his brother, Norman Rowe. Charles was a veteran of the United States Navy, serving during the Korean War. He retired from SPECO/ Kelsey Hayes after working as an electrician for 32 years. He was a skilled woodworker, craftsman, mechanic, and handyman. For many years, he rebuilt antique pump organs and player pianos, and enjoyed displaying them in his home. He is survived by his loving wife of sixty years, Joanne; three sons, Tim, Danny, and William Rowe, all of Springfield; nine grandchildren, and seven great-grandchildren. At Charles' request, his remains were donated to the Boonshoft School of Medicine of Wright State University, and per his wishes, there will be no funeral or calling hours.
