Harold M. HOUCK


News Death Notice

HOUCK, Harold M. 59, of Springfield, went to be with his Lord Thursday, April 18, 2013. He was born October 16, 1953 in Fort Wayne, Indiana, the son of Harold and Dorothy Houck. Mr. Houck was a member of the Lighthouse Tabernacle, the H. S. Kissell Lodge # 674 F & AM, where he was a Past Master, the Harrison Fullerton Lodge #937 F&AM in South Shore, Kentucky, the Western Sun Lodge #91 F&AM in Wheelersburg, Ohio, the Scottish Rite Valley of Dayton, the Khana Shahar Grotto, where he was a Past Monarch, the Kentucky Colonels and the Knights of Pythias Lodge # 205. He was retired from Kenosha Auto Transport following over 30 years of service. Survivors include one daughter and son-in-law; Lois and Roger Stowers, Sylva, North Carolina, two grandchildren; Justin and Britiney Stowers, one great grandson; Justin Roger Strowers Jr. one sister; Debra Houck, Indiana and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his wife; Barbara Houck, September 8, 2012 and his parents. Visitation will be held from 4:00PM until 8:00PM Monday in the JONES-KENNEY-ZECHMAN FUNERAL HOME. Masonic services will be held at 8:00PM Monday immediately followed by funeral services with Pastor Rick Clos officiating. Graveside services will be held at 11:00 AM Tuesday in Tippecanoe Cemetery, Tippecanoe, Indiana with burial to follow. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Special Olympics.
