She really enjoyed the time she worked and went to school in Santa Monica, CA where she was able to make frequent visits to the Pacific beaches. During one summer, off the coast of Mexico and serving as a teaching assistant for a marine biology class she often spoke how great it was to swim with dolphins and hear the whales spouting water. While in Ohio, she liked to spend time on Pelee Island, Ontario, Canada in Lake Erie. Kristen also enjoyed visiting her father and step-mother in SC, where she would often ask to go to the Atlantic beaches. She leaves behind stepsiblings, Sara Beckett, Tina Hall, Steven Faris. Her special friends, Joel Campbell, Connie Sherowski, Stacey Groh, Jennifer Demmien-Jones and Dan Stanley will also sadly miss her as well as many other friends to numerous to mention. Her wish was for cremation with scattering of ashes in the Pacific.... this will be accomplished. Private services will be held at the convenience of the family. In lieu of contributions or memorials, Kristen asked that each of her friends do something nice for each other and for their loved ones in her memory. Arrangements are by Conroy Funeral Home.
