News Death Notice

FAWLEY, Lewis Cleo 100, of Springfield, passed away on Friday, November 08, 2013 at the Forest Glen Health Campus. He was born on November 13, 1912 in Hillsboro, Ohio the son of John and Laura Fawley. In 1973 Cleo retired from International Harvester - Department 12 and was a longtime member of the First Christian Church. He was preceded in death by his mother, father, first wife Geneva (Bauer) Fawley, second wife Blanche (Wiles) Fawley, two daughters, Marilyn Vance and Connie Robertson, grandson, Scott Robertson, five brothers, one sister, and step-son, Leo Wiles. He is survived by his son-in-law, Paul Vance of Springfield, several grandchildren, great grandchildren, great-great grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews. A celebration of his life will be held on Thursday, November 14, 2013 at 11:00 a.m. in the LITTLETON & RUE FUNERAL HOME. Burial will be in the Glen Haven Memorial Gardens.
