Margaret Louise Secrist WELSHEIMER


News Death Notice

WELSHEIMER, Margaret Louise(Secrist) went to her heavenly home on October 23, 2012. She was born on May 8, 1915 to Charles and Nellie Williams Secrist, the oldest child. She attended Xenia Public Schools and became an LPN later in her life, graduating from the Clark County Vocational Center. She married William F. Welsheimer while still attending high school. Margaret is preceded in death by her parents, Sister Ruth Bobbett, Brother Charles Jr., husband William Welsheimer, and four children, Kathy MacDonald, Ruthann Fant, Philip Welsheimer, and Carolyn Wise. Margaret made her home on the family farm, living with her granddaughter, Shelia Hiddleson, and her family. Margaret is survived by one son, Charles David Welsheimer and his wife Phyllis, one brother, Robert Secrist and his wife Louise. Survivors also include sixteen grandchildren, thirty-one great grandchildren, twenty nieces and nephews, and a multitude of cousins and wonderful friends. Margaret attended Maple Avenue Church of God in Fairborn. Visitation will be on Saturday October 27, 2012 from 4:00 PM until 6:00 PM, with a memorial service at 6:00 PM. All services will be held at Maple Avenue Church of God, 1352 Maple Avenue Fairborn OH 45324. Per her wishes her body was donated to the Boonshoft School of Medicine at Wright State University in the hope that the secret of her longevity, ninety-seven years, could be discovered. The family requests donations to the Maple Avenue Church of God Women's Missionary in lieu of flowers.
