News Death Notice

WILDMAN, Margaret R. [Peg] 82, of South Charleston, Ohio, died unexpectedly in her home on Thursday, December 6, 2012. She was born on February 28, 1930 in Beckley, West Virginia, to George and Nora (Gibson) Richards. Margaret graduated from the University of Maryland where she earned a degree in Home Economics. She met her husband, William W. (Bill) Wildman, Jr., while living in Colorado Springs, Colorado, and they were married for 25 years until his death in 1981. She was an active member of the South Charleston First Presbyterian Church and a long-term member of Conroy Class of Selma. Margaret is survived by her sons, W. Richard (Sharon) Wildman and Charles A. (Carol) Wildman of South Charleston and James A. (M. Christine) of Houston, Texas; 11 grandchildren, Matthew Wildman of Seward, Nebraska, Sarah Wildman of Wichita, Kansas, Adam and Stephen Wildman of South Charleston, Anna Wildman (John Rosen) of Dallas, Texas, Faith (Steven) Gibson of Ludowici, Georgia, Rachel Wildman of Bexley, and Kimberly, Samuel, Melinda and Simon all of South Charleston. She is also survived by three great-grandchildren. Margaret was preceded in death by a son, Robert E. Wildman, her brother James Richards, and her parents. A gathering of family and friends will be held on Thursday, December 13, 2012 from 5 to 8 p.m. in the Fellowship Hall in the South Charleston First Presbyterian Church. A celebration of her life will be held at 10 a.m. on Friday, December 14 in the church. There will be a private burial on Saturday, December 15. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to First Presbyterian Church, Box P, South Charleston, Ohio 45368 or to Young Life, P.O. Box 1465, Springfield, Ohio 45501.
