WILLIAMS, Mary K. 83, of Springfield, went home to be with her Lord Tuesday, January 1, 2013. She was born October 8, 1929 in Wilmington, Ohio, the daughter of Charles and Mary Robinson. Mrs. Williams was an active member of the Clifton Avenue Church of God where she had been a Sunday School teacher, worked with the food pantry and worked with autistic children among many other things. She was also a dedicated Volunteer at Mercy Medical Center. Mary was retired from the United States Post Office in South Vienna in 1990, following 20 years of service. Survivors include four children; Gary D. Williams, Springfield, John D. Williams, Dayton, Sue A. (Charles) Philips, Springfield and Lorraine K. Hise, St. Paris, seven grandchildren; Dawn (Robert) Gaskill, Trisha Pace, Nicole Howell, Brad Howell, Ray Phillips, Paula Williams and Rachel Phillips, twelve great grandchildren, two great great grandchildren, three brothers; Ray (Carol) Robinson, Martinsville, Charles (Vickie) Robinson, Piketon and Gordon (Dottie) Robinson, Florida, one sister; Mildred Lee, Xenia and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband; Paul Rex Williams, May 7, 1992, four brothers, two sisters and her parents. Funeral services will be held at 1:00PM Saturday in the Clifton Avenue Church of God with Pastors Chad and Debbie Vickers officiating. Friends may visit with the family for one hour prior to the services in the church. Burial will follow in Rose Hill Burial Park. Arrangements are being handled by the JONES-KENNEY-ZECHMAN FUNERAL HOME.
