News Death Notice

MILLER, Paul E. 67 of Springfield passed away Thursday, February 20, 2014 in the Springfield Regional Medical Center. He was born in Clifton, Ohio on January 4, 1947 the son of James Emerson and Viola Ida Miller. Paul was a 1965 graduate of Cedarville High School and following his military service Clark State. He served his country in the US Navy during Vietnam receiving the National Defense Medal, Vietnam Campaign Medal, and two awards of the Vietnam Service Medal. He retired as an electrician from Navistar with 33 years of service. In his spare time, Paul enjoyed sports of all kinds along with going to his children's sporting events, working with his hands, and taking in nature while spending time with his family. He was preceded in death by his parents; brothers James, Robert, William, and Jack Miller; sisters Mary Margaret and Helen Francis Miller. Survivors include his wife of 42 years Delores A. Miller; children Robert McWilliams (John Poole), Paul M. Miller, John A. Miller (fiancé Nicki Rexroad), Lisa Miller, and Pam McWilliams (Charlie)- Hauser; brother Donald (Wilma) Miller; grandchildren Rachel, Hope, C.J., Madilynn, and Wyatt; and several nieces and nephews. A service to honor Paul will be Tuesday at 11:00AM in the RICHARDS, RAFF & DUNBAR MEMORIAL HOME. Viewing will be from 10:00AM to 11:00AM before the service. Burial with military honors to follow in Enon Cemetery. Memorial contributions are requested to the Animal Welfare League 701 Basswood Dr. Springfield, Ohio 45502.
