DYGERT, Verina I. 71, of Springfield, passed away Saturday afternoon, April 5, 2014 in her residence following a lengthy battle with Alzheimer 's disease. She was born in Oil Springs, Kentucky on August 14, 1942, the daughter of the late Elvin and Mae (Gullett) Van Hoose. She is survived by her husband of 30 years, Clint E. Dygert; three children, Ron Frazier of Springfield, John (Teresa) Frazier of Kettering and Kim (Tony) Snyder of New Carlisle; seven grandchildren, Kelly, Joshua, Kasey, Veronica, Brandy, John, and Amber; five great grandchildren; three sisters, Anna Muncy, Doris Jones and Mary Williams; a brother, John Van Hoose; and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by a sister, Dissie Sherman and a brother, Harry Van Hoose. A gathering of family and friends to celebrate Verina's life will be held at 6:00 p.m. Saturday at V.F.W.
