News Death Notice

DOBBINS, Helen "Louise" 91, of Cedarville, went home to be with her Lord and Savior on October 5, 2012. She was born on June 9, 1921, the daughter of the late Ernest Leo and Mina Mae (Miller) Wilt. She is preceded in death by her husband, Robert Louis Dobbins in 2005. She is survived by her daughters and sons-in-law, Janet and Fred Evans of St. Paris and Linda and Philip Sears of Pepper Pike, Ohio; grandchildren, Amanda Evans of Tallmadge, Ohio, Justin Evans of St. Paris, Sarah Yoder of Lewiston, Idaho and Emily (Jason) Dick of Hilliard, Ohio; step-grandchildren, Gayle Diehl and Brandon (Jill) Evans both of Columbus and Lori Sears of Dayton, Ohio; great-grandchildren, Quinn Louise, Allison and Carter; and sister, Norma Jean Hill of Washington Court House. Louise attended Jeffersonville Public Schools in Fayette County, Ohio and went on to receive her business degree from Springfield Business College. She worked in the banking business for 5 years in Springfield and 27 years in Cedarville. Louise was a very active member at the Cedarville United Presbyterian Church, a member of the Kensington Club, Cedar Cliff Chapter of DAR and the Spring Valley Senior Citizens. Her most recent hobby was quilting and she also loved reading. Louise was a supportive farmer's wife who loved taking care of her family and will be deeply missed. Visitation will be held on Monday, October 8, 2012 from 9-11 a.m. at the Cedarville United Presbyterian Church, Cedarville, Ohio with services beginning at 11 a.m. Pastor Anne Horton officiating. Burial to follow at North Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in memory of Louise to the Cedarville United Presbyterian Church.
