STRODER, Joe Alan was born to Cynthia Louneill Clark Stroder and Michael Alan Stroder, Sr. on September, 19, 2001 and peacefully went home, unexpectedly on Friday, May, 25, 2012. Joe was a 2012 graduate to the 5th grade at Springfield Preparatory and Fitness Academy. Joe, "Mr. Everything", was a dedicated baseball, football, and basketball player. He also played soccer, tennis, was a swimmer and an A & B Honor Student. He leaves to cherish his loving memory - parents: Cynthia and Michael Stroder, Sr.; grandmother: Beverly Cole Clark; a second set of parents: Coach Anthony Roberts, Sr. and Ms. Lisa James; brothers: Anthoniey, Michael, Jr., Kendrick, William, and Chance Stroder, Michael Minter, Jr., Jeffrey Wellington, Jr., Jamar, Anthony, II, Marcus, and Jonathan Roberts; sisters: Misha, Cheyenne, and Michaela Stroder, Daykisha Warren, and May Walker of Atlanta, GA; and LaToya Clark; great uncles: Bobby Mims, Carlton Clark Abdullah; uncles: Mike Clark, Shy Clark, William Stroder Jr., Tae Tae Smoot, Bobby Stroder Jr., and Bryan (Valerie) Stroder; great aunts: Connie Clark Brown; aunts: LaKisha Cole, Marla Clark, Diane Clark, Pat Stinnett, and Stephanie Cole; nephew, Anthoniey Clark, Jr.; niece, Saniya Clark ; godfathers: Orlando Willis, Jimmy Jam, and Andre; godmother: Sara Turner; god grandmother: Opal Cole Paris; special friends: Trevor Crockran, Malcolm Curry, JayVon Wells, Brian Parks, Jr., Isaiah Gibson, Theresa Smith, the Phelps Family, the Anderson Family, the Springfield Little Tigers and Springfield Youth Baseball Association (SYBA). He is preceded in death by his paternal grandparents: William and Bertha Stroder, and his maternal grandparents: Dorothy and Cornelius Mack Clark, and Loretta Clark; uncles: Bobby E. Stroder Sr., Anthony Clark; and an aunt, Judy Johnson. Visitation will be Thursday from 10 a.m. until the time of the service at 12 noon in St. John Missionary Baptist Church, Mulberry Street entrance. Burial will be in Ferncliff Cemetery. Arrangements provided by the Robert C. Henry Funeral Home. Memorial contributions may be made to PNC Bank in memory of Jo Jo Stroder.
