News Death Notice
VEITCH, Margaret "Peggi" D. 68, of Solon, OH and Urbana, OH passed away on Sunday, February 12, 2012. She was born on April 15, 1943 in Urbana, OH, the daughter of the late Richard and Marie (Snyder) Metzger. Peggi was the beloved wife of the late Thomas L. Veitch; sister of David (Cindy) Metzger, Cynthia Melvin and the late Richard Metzger, stepmother of Thomas P. (Susan) Veitch and Melissa A. (Thomas) O'Hara. Her grandchildren include Marissa Veitch, Jeffrey Veitch, Stephanie (Donny) Kervin-Miley, Matthew Kervin, Tommy O'Hara, Barbara Costello and Sandra Costello. Peggi is also survived by four great-grandchildren, aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, and nephews. Visitation is scheduled for 11:30 A.M. - 1:30 P.M. Wednesday, February 15, 2012 at the WALTER & SMITH FUNERAL HOME, 642 South Main Street, Urbana, OH where funeral services will be held at 1:30 P.M. with Pastor Linden Good officiating. Burial will be immediately following at the Spring Grove Cemetery, St. Paris, OH. Peggi loved her family, especially her grandchildren. She had a kind heart and was a loving, giving person to all who needed her. She will be sadly missed. Memorial contributions can be made to Green Hills Center, 6557 US 68S, West Liberty, OH 43357.

I will always remember Peggi's thoughtfulness. She was very kind to me during my husband's illness and after his passing. I only wish I could have been as helpful to her as she was to me. I'll miss her.
