News Death Notice
KRIPAS, Norma J. 86, of Springfield passed away December 16, 2014 at Heartland of Springfield. She was born July 26, 1928 in Springfield, the daughter of the late James and Myrtle (Morgan) Brougher. Norma was a member of First Lutheran Church. She worked as a cook at the Clark County Jail for many years. Norma also owned the Meadows Motel with her husband, Bill from 1964-1981. She will be sadly missed by her beloved family and friends. Survivors include her son, Earl (Cheryl) Kripas; two grandchildren, Jeanette (Jonathan) Weaver and Bill Kripas; one great-granddaughter, Helina Weaver and several close friends. She was preceded in death by her husband of 41 years in 1991, William Frank Kripas and two sisters, Thelma and Dorothy. A gathering of family and friends will be held on Friday, December 19, 2014 from 10-11 am in the LITTLETON & RUE FUNERAL HOME. Funeral services will begin at 11 am in the funeral home with Pastor Jim Christian officiating. Burial will follow in Somerford Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial gifts may be made to First Lutheran Church or Heartland Hospice of Dayton. You may express condolences to the family www.littletonandrue.com
