MAUTE, William Andrew, Jr. In peace "Bo" Maute passed forward into the Promised Land Sunday, September 30, 2012. Born 1926 in Springfield, OH to William and Gladys (Welker) Maute, and was a lifelong west-ender of Springfield. "Bo" left on graduation day from Springfield High to serve in the United States Navy during WWII. He retired as a purchasing agent for SPECO and was also a long time employee of Meek's Sporting Goods. He was a member of St. Bernard Catholic Church. "Bo" was a true fisherman, who loved the outdoors, and was a gifted woodworker. He had a heart to give and serve. He was blessed with love, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, and a gentle soul. He is survived by his love of 61 years, Norma; his son and daughter in law, Jeff and Diane Maute; grandson Ian (Allison) Maute; granddaughter Chelsea (Anthony) Harris; daughter and son in law, Jill and Dan Powell; granddaughter Hannah (Todd) Tuney; grandson Jordan (Molly) Powell; great-granddaughters Maggie and Jane Maute and step great-granddaughter Leah Tuney; great-grandsons Luke and Graham Powell; sister and brother in law Mary Jo and Tim Rizer; his loving and caring nieces and a nephew; many special great and great-great nieces and nephews. "Bo" was preceded in death by his parents and his sister Mary Lou (Gene) Steinman. The family wishes to thank the Dr. Ahmed's, Dr. Umerani, and Dr. Patel and is deeply grateful for the tender care given with love by the staff of Villa Springfield. Visitation will begin at 10:00 a.m. Thursday in the CONROY FUNERAL HOME. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 12:00 noon Thursday in St. Bernard Church. Burial will be in St. Bernard Cemetery.
