News Death Notice

ZITSMAN, William B. 84, of Springfield passed away Thursday, July 4, 2013. He was born July 25, 1928 in Springfield the son of Elick and Ida (Plotler) Zitsman. Bill served nine years in the United States Navy including the Korean War, and graduated from The Ohio State University with a Bachelors Degree in Advertising and Journalism. Bill was the owner of the Ideal Jewelry Store and the Ideal Clothing Store. He was a member of Temple Sholom; H.S. Kissell Lodge #674 F & AM.; Scottish Rite, Valley of Dayton; and the Springfield Kiwanis Club for 45 years. He is survived by his wife Elizabeth S. Emody-Zitsman; four sons and daughters-in-law Robert and Cheryl Zitsman of San Diego, CA, Howard and Jody Zitsman of Columbus, OH, Charles and Susan Zitsman of St. Augustine, FL, and James and Judy Zitesman of Dublin, OH; one daughter and son-in-law Karen and Scott Daves of Tampa, FL; stepson James Reisinger of Cincinnati, OH; and nine grandchildren. Visitation will be Monday from 3-4 PM. in the RICHARDS, RAFF & DUNBAR MEMORIAL HOME. The service to honor Bill's life will be held Monday at 4:00 PM. in the Memorial Home with Rabbi Gary Huber officiating. Scottish Rite, Valley of Dayton ring services will begin at 2:45PM.
