News Death Notice
VULGAMORE, Eber 91, of Springfield, passed away on Thursday, April 12, 2012 in the Forest Glen Health Campus. He was born on June 5, 1920 in Piketon, Ohio the son of William M. and Sarah E. Vulgamore. He worked for Robbins & Myers for forty-four years as a crane operator. Eber played the guitar with the "Herb Dietrich Orchestra" for over twenty years. He was preceded in death by his wife of sixty-five years, Gretta Francis Vulgamore in 2008. He is survived by his son and daughter-in-law, Dewey and Michealeen Vulgamore of Springfield, two granddaughters: Melissa Vulgamore of Springfield, and Julie Tabbachi of North Lewisburg, one great granddaughter, Alexa Rahrig, and several nieces and nephews. He was also preceded in death by his parents, daughter, Elizabeth Vulgamore in 1966, his sister, Virginia Oyer, and brother, Asa. Graveside services will be held on Monday, April 16, 2012 at 1:00 p.m. in Enon Cemetery. The family would like to express their sincere appreciation to the staff at Forest Glen Health Campus and Odyssey Hospice for the love and care shown to Eber. "Love ya honey! Eber loves you."
