News Death Notice
WHALEY, David A. age 69 of Springfield, passed away Satruday, April 14, 2012. He was born October 4, 1942 in Springfield, the son of the late Amos & Cora (Middle) Whaley. Preced in death by a brother Pearl H. Whaley, and 3 sisters Mae Reed, Ruth Mace, Alice Sanders. David is survived by 2 brothrs E. Frank Whaley and wife Violet, Paul Whaley all of Springfield, his sister Delilah Carter and husband Robert of AZ, his former wife Rose and her children as well as numerous nieces, nephews and other family and friends. A memorial service will be held on Wednesday, April 18, 2012 at 6:00 p.m. at the Salvation Army, 15 S. Plum St., Springfield with Captain Stephen Carroll, Jr., officiating. Arrangements entrusted to the JONES KENNEY ZECHMAN FUNERAL HOME, Springfield.
