JONES, Jennifer Lee A life book was opened for Jennifer Lee Jones, June 26, 1959 in Springfield, Ohio. Her book was closed Mother's Day, Sunday May 13, 2012 in Grandview Medical Center, Dayton, Ohio. Jennifer was the daughter of L. Kathryn Jones and the late Orville Lee Turner. Jennifer graduated in 1977 from Springfield North High School and received her Bachelor of Science Degree from Miami University in 1981. She was a member of the National Honor Society and the Zeta Mu Chapter of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority. Jennifer was very active in the community and was involved in projects that involved "giving back" and one project that was near and dear to her heart was helping purchase books for a Kindergarten Class in Dayton that lacked funding. Jennifer was employed at PNC Mortgage Company as an Assistant Vice President of Quality Control. Jennifer's memory will be cherished by her mother; daughters, Jaelee Kathryn Elizabeth and Jasmene Kamae Jones both of Huber Heights, Ohio; brothers, Delbert "Tony", Todd (Cynthia) both of Springfield, Ohio and Ralph Turner of Columbus, Ohio; aunts, Martha and Peggy Jones, Gaythal White and Betty Grimes all of Springfield, Ohio; uncles, William Foster and Robert (Joyce) Jones of Springfield, Ohio; the father of her children, Jay Harris of Huber Heights, Ohio; his daughters, Chanel Wheeler and Christa Pridgen both of Dayton, Ohio; special cousins, Pamela Williams of Columbus, Ohio, Patrice Toliver of Springfield, Ohio and Marsha Jones of Huber Heights, Ohio; her special sisters at PNC, Cheryl Shanks, Cindy Christian and Tracy Bronston; school friends, Natalie Mays and Dorothy Weems both of New York and a host of other relatives and friends. Visitation will be Monday from 10 a.m.-12 noon in St. John Missionary Baptist Church, Mulberry Street entrance until the time of the service at 12 noon. Burial will follow in Ferncliff Cemetery. Arrangement provided by the Robert C. Henry Funeral Home.
