News Death Notice
DILLER, C. Charles 87, of New Carlisle, Ohio passed away Wednesday, March 5, 2014 at SRMC, surrounded by his family. He was born August 29, 1926 in Medway, Ohio the son of the late Clarence S. & Ella (Grieder) Diller. He was a WWII Navy veteran and retired auto mechanic from Kessler Pontiac after 42 years of service. He is survived by his children, Nancy Diller, Gayle (John) Baker, C. Edwin (Patsy) Diller, Roger (Donna) Diller; six grandchildren, Becky (Boyd) Barger, Tom (fiancé Rachel) Baker, Greg Baker, Donald (Noelle) Diller, Sandra (Curt Callicoat) Diller, Bethany (Zach Baum) Diller; seven great grandchildren, Austin Diller, Brooklyn Barger, Kierstin Diller, Brenden Barger, Madelyn Diller, Cody & Colt Baker; sister, Mary Diller; brother, Paul & Maxine Diller; sister-in-law, Mary (Gautsche) Diller; special friend, Bob Peters; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his wife, Joanne (Bussey) Diller in 2004; brothers, Richard and his wife Effie Diller, Victor & Edwin Diller. Visitation will be 11-1 PM Monday March 10, 2014 at the TROSTEL, CHAPMAN, DUNBAR & FRALEY FUNERAL HOME, New Carlisle, Ohio with funeral services at 1:00 PM in the funeral home. Burial will be in Glen Haven Memorial Gardens. Memorial contributions may be made to the Community Mercy Hospice. Expressions of sympathy may be sent to www.trostelchapman.com

I always thought Charlie was a great guy and a lot of fun at all the "Kitchen" family reunions. He will be missed.
