CHESTER, Karen Sue (Vatter) and Ricky C. Karen Sue (Vatter) Chester, age 53, born January 23, 1961 to William and Beverly Vatter, passed away May 2, 2014 along with her husband Rick, as the result of a truck accident. She was a 1978 graduate of Kenton Ridge High School and a 2013 graduate of Sinclair College. She was an avid NASCAR and Cleveland Browns fan. Karen never knew a stranger and will be missed by her many friends. Her survivors include her parents, her mother-in-law Eva Chester, her sister and brother-in-law Sharon and Ed Hall, brothers and sisters-in-law Mark and Tangela Chester and Mike and Tonya Carman, nieces Allison Hall and Candice Chester, nephews Ricky Lee Zerkle and Clayton Chester, aunts Phyllis Blanton, Van Lear, KY and Rosemarie Zehnder, Kettering, Ohio, and several cousins. In lieu of flowers, please make a donation to in Karen and Rick's name. Funeral services will be held at 11:00am Friday in the JONES-KENNEY-ZECHMAN FUNERAL HOME. Visitation will be held for one hour prior to the service. Burial will follow at Rose Hill Burial Park. Ricky C. Chester, 56, and Karen S. (Vatter) Chester, 53, of Xenia went to Heaven together as they were always together here on Earth on Friday May 2 due to a traffic accident. Ricky was born May 18, 1957 and Karen was born January 23, 1961 in Springfield, OH where they both grew up. They were preceded in death by their grandparents, Ricky's father Pearl "Jerry" Chester and nephew Kyle Carman. They are survived by Ricky's mother Eva Chester and Karen's mother Beverly Vatter and father William "Sam" Vatter, Ricky's sister Tonya (Mike) Carman, brother Mark (Tangela) Chester, sister Lora (Doug) Scholl, Karen's sister Sharon (Ed) Hall, nieces Candice Chester, Ashley Carman, and Allison Hall, nephews Ricky Zerkle, Clayton Chester, and Shane Sawyer, great-nieces Myah Zerkle and Kaylee Copley, great-nephews Brandon Zerkle, Clay Speakman, Wesley Carman, and Jaxon Zerkle. Funeral services will be held at 11:00am Friday in the JONES - KENNEY - ZECHMAN FUNERAL HOME. Visitation will be held for one hour prior to the service. Burial will follow at Rose Hill Burial Park. We will love and miss you both forever. You will be God's angels in Heaven as you were angels here on Earth.
