SHARP, Warren Gerald 93, of Springfield, passed away on Saturday, June 21, 2014 in the Springfield Regional Medical Center. He was born on April 25, 1921 in Springfield the son of Earl and Roxie (Marhoover) Sharp. Warren served our country in the United States Army during World War II. Following his military service he spent 38 years in Tool and Dye at WPAFB. He was preceded in death by his parents, brother, Robert Sharp, sister Marie Scholl and son-in-law, Clifford "Skip" Hinshaw. He is survived by his loving wife of 69 years, Anna Lee Sharp, his three daughters and many grandchildren. Daughters are: Sharon Hinshaw of Marshall, Michigan; Carol Briggs of Springfield, and Cindy (Bill) Hill of Springfield. Grandchildren: Todd Hinshaw of Naples, Florida; Lori Visscher of Saugatuck, Michigan; Michael Hinshaw of Austin, Texas; Kim Rohrer of Springfield, Kasey Lowry of Springfield, and Kelly Edgerton of Charlotte, North Carolina. Great grandchildren: Cooper Hinshaw, Sophia Hinshaw, Jacob Visscher, Olivia Visscher, Tyler Rohrer, Cody Rohrer, Elizabeth Lowry, Mitchell Lowry, James Edgerton, Abigail Edgerton, and Sarah Edgerton. Great-great grandchildren: Anna Rohrer, Christian Rohrer, and Jackson Lowry. Warren was a devoted son, brother, husband, father, grandfather, great grandfather, and great-great grandfather. His great joy was spending time with his family, especially at he and Anna's lake house.. He also enjoyed fishing and golfing and in recent years he gathered with friends at McDonalds every morning for breakfast and fellowship. A celebration of his life will be held on Wednesday, June 25, 2014 at 2:00 p.m. in the LITTLETON & RUE FUNERAL HOME. Friends may call from 1-2:00 p.m. prior to the services. Burial will follow in Ferncliff Cemetery with military honors. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Community Mercy Hospice, 444 West Harding Rd., Springfield, OH 45504 or any local charity.
