CREMEENS, Louie Hildebrant 87, of Springfield went to be with Jesus on Tuesday July 1. He was born June 19, 1927 in Waterloo, OH to Louie F. and Jessie F. Cremeens. He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife Velma I. (Stirr) Cremeens and son-in-law Daryl R. Bowman. He was a veteran of World War II and retiree from National Harvester in Springfield. He attended Mechanicsburg Christian Fellowship church. He enjoyed bowling, fishing, camping and spending time with his family. He was part of the gospel-singing group "The Singing Gospel Tones" for many years. He was well known for his jokes and stories, always able to bring a smile to the room. Louie was a dedicated father, grandfather and great grandfather. He is survived by his daughter Pamela S. Bowman of Springfield, his son Dr. Timothy B. Cremeens and daughter-in-law Tammy K. Cremeens of Massachusetts, his grandchildren Chad R. Bowman of Columbus, Natalie N. Bowman of Springfield, T. Gabriel, Zoe C. and Magdalena J. Cremeens of Massachusetts, his great grandchildren Evelyn "Thunderbird" M. and Oliver R. Bowman of Columbus, his brother William (Donna) Cremeans of Springfield, and his sister Juanita Kimble of Fairborn. Visitation will be held from 9:00am until 11:00am Thursday in Mechanicsburg Christian Fellowship Church, 4401 Allison Rd, Mechanicsburg. Funeral services will begin at 11:00am. Burial will take place at 2:00pm Thursday at Glen Haven Memorial Gardens, 8350 W. National Rd, Donnelsville. Arrangements are being handled by the JONES - KENNEY - ZECHMAN FUNERAL HOME. In lieu of flowers, please make donations to Hospice of Miami Valley.
