PROFITT, Catherine "Crickett" 57, of Springfield, went to be with the Lord, on August 2, 2014. She was born on August 4, 1956 in Lake Charles, Louisiana, the daughter of William J. and Wardine (Simmons) Wilder. Crickett worked for many years as an assistant to Dr. Batie and Dr. Dunaway. In 2009 she began the nursing program with Hondros College and finished in 2011 was employed by Family Physicians of Springfield. She was a member of First Christian Church where she enjoyed being active serving in youth ministry and the Good Samaritan Outreach Center. Mostly she enjoyed spending time with her family and playing with her twin grandsons. She is survived by her husband of eleven years, Bruce Profitt of Springfield, two daughters and a son-in-law: Jessie and Jason Tingley of Beavercreek, and Katie Worthen of Springfield; step sons, Derek and Alex Profitt of Centerville; one brother and sister-in-law, Ernest and Pamela Wilder of Springfield, one sister, Connie Narcho of Springfield, twin grandsons, Evan and Braden Tingley, two nieces and two nephews: Christian, Elizabeth, Michael, and Becky; and several cousins. She was preceded in death by her father, Bill Wilder in 2013 and her brother Ken Wilder in 1996. A gathering of family and friends will be held on Thursday, August 7, 2014 from 5-8:00 p.m. at First Christian Church, 3638 Middle Urbana Rd., Springfield where a memorial celebration of her life will be held on Friday at 11:00 a.m. with Craig Grammer officiating.
