WILLIAMSON, Elizabeth "Betty" 84, beloved mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother went home to the Lord at 12:07am Thursday, September 15, 2011 at OSU Medical Center surrounded by her loving family. She was born June 15, 1927 the daughter of George and Rosa Kate (Muttram) Jones in Detroit, Michigan. She was a faithful member of the United Church of South Vienna where she was a member and past president of the Dorcas Circle and the Chimes Choir. Also served as Deaconess, the GO committee and any area where she was needed and was a member of the 500 Club. She retired after 17 years from Community Hospital as the Administrative Secretary to the Director of Maternal Health and continued on as a volunteer for many years. In 1946 she married Richard G. Williamson who preceded her to heaven on December 11, 1980. She is survived by her three children, Donna (Warren) Smith of South Vienna, John (Karen) Williamson of Powell, Ohio, and Michael (Karen) Williamson of Spring Hill, Tennessee; eight grandchildren, Amy (Joey) Etters, John (Anna) Williamson, Greg (Sarah Counts, friend) Smith, Michael (Juhee) Williamson, Bob (Erin) Williamson, Erin (Chandler) Buck, Kristy (Todd) Samms, and Richie Williamson; 15 great-grandchildren, Ryan and Jacob Robertson, Zoey Etters, Jack, Alisa, Parker, Halle and Karianna Williamson, Ethan and Cooper Williamson, Brayden and Bowen Buck, Avery, Bailey, and Liam Samms. Also surviving, her sister Mildred Celina, sister-in-law Deloris Jones and many nieces and nephews that loved her dearly and special friend Ann Schilling. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, sister, Mary Volpini, and brother, John Jones. Family will receive friends from 11: 00 to 2:00 pm on Saturday, September 17th in the CONROY FUNERAL HOME. Memorial service will be held at 2:30pm on Saturday at The United Church of South Vienna, 227 East Main Street, South Vienna with Pastor Scott Griswold officiating. In lieu of flowers, memorials can be sent to The United Church of South Vienna general fund.
