News Death Notice
ROBINSON, Sr., Robert Paul 69, of Springfield, went to be with God at 6:59 p.m. Monday, December 5, 2011 in his residence surrounded by his family. He will be greatly missed. He was born in Mt. Pleasant, Tennessee on August 29, 1942 the son of Henry P. and Lucille (Sisco) Robinson, Sr. He was a truck driver for 40 years for many different companies, most recently for KBT Trucking in Zanesville. He was a member of Lawrenceville Church of God. Survivors include his wife, Charlotte A. (Munger); eight children, Suzanne M. (Tommy) McWhorter, Stephanie (Kenneth) Wooten all of Springfield, Robert Paul (Tommi) Robinson, Jr. of Kentucky, William Edward (John Hamilton) Robinson of Springfield, Jeffrey A. Bishop of Tennessee, Brian Robinson of Springfield, Paula Kay (Regina Ritchie) Watson of Indiana and Paul Robert Robinson of Springfield; 14 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; sister- in-law, Margaret Saum of Springfield and six special friends, Paul Elam, Jr., Clara Brown, Jake Wisdom, Robert Isabel, Linda Amburgey and George Wilson. The family would like to thank Cornerstone Hospice and Nurse, Judy for their excellent care. Visitation will be from 4-7 p.m. Thursday in CONROY FUNERAL HOME. His funeral service will be held at 12:00 p.m. Friday in Lawrenceville Church of God with Pastor Alan Cain officiating. Memorial donations may be made to Lawrenceville Church of God.
